Larry Cotton founded Cotton & Associates in January 2000, after having worked in the sale management and marketing business since 1990 with partner Bernie Scheer.  Sales managed by Cotton-Scheer & Associates specialized in registered cattle marketing; auction and private treaty sales, livestock management consulting and sale management.

Today, Cotton & Associate’s sale management expertise includes cattle selection, advertising, budgeting, promotion material development, coordination prior to production sales, buyer contact and auction representation.

Cotton & Associates serves industry-leading breeders of registered Angus, Simmental and other breeds throughout North America. The business operates under the founding company of Premier Farms, Inc., the latest of a series of companies from the original Premier Corporation founded in 1969.  At one time, Premier Corporation was a totally integrated beef company comprised of registered Angus, Limousin and Brangus cattle herds, feedlots, packing plants and A.I. centers with locations in seven states. Premier’s marketing division was initially directed by Cotton in Minatare, NE, with a focus on auction and private treaty sale management of all registered breeds.
